This is basic 40 pin AVR development board with DIP(Dual in-line package) socket. If you are starting with AVR microcontroller than this board is perfect for programming AVR microcontroller as well as for designing and testing AVR based projects.The board has onboard ATmega32 MCU(32K Flash Memory).The board is compatible with the ATmega16,ATmega32 and 40 Pin AVR microcontrollers. Board has on board power supply circuit,RS232 port for serial communication with computer and other serial device(GPS modules, GSM Modems,RFID Reader),power status LED(RED),Reset switch, User switch, User LED(GREEN), and port extensions for all 4 ports. ISP (in-circuit programming) header port for Loading HEX file. You can power the Borad through the DC plug-in jack jack. The on-board power regulator can handle anything from 8 to 15VDC/VAC.
